Professional Piper PA28-161 Flight Simulator

Our Piper PA28-161 flight simulator is built with incredible realistic simulations experience.

The Nuna Simulations PA8-161 features a G530 and GTN650 avionics stack with a realistic radio stack for professional training that meets the needs of private pilots, certified pilots and instructors.

The custom designed realistic gauges panel truly gives an edge to the PA28-161 Flight Simulator and is design to a specific dimension as the real Piper aircraft. Our unique Gauges Software offers the extra addition that a Piper pilot needs and introduces a truly amazing Piper gauges panel.

For better training on starting the airplane (from cold & dark to taxi) or to better practice the runner up procedures, we custom built the piper switch panel to match it as in the real Piper PA28-161 aircraft.

To get the most realistic experience from the Piper PA28-161 Flight Simulator, we designed the floor unit with the trim and flaps. Combined with the TPM unit and the accurate yoke, the Nuna Simulations PA8-161 Flight Simulator suits perfectly for the Piper pilots.

This Flight Simulator unit comes with immersive 180-degree visual system wrap-around and is designed to provide a look as realistic as needed. This visual system, built with three 43-inch 4K TV’s, is a great tool for student VFR pilots.

The Nuna Simulations PA8-161 Flight Simulator system comes with an operating station which includes a 22-inch touch screen monitor, a keyboard and mouse. The instructor unit is separate from the flight simulator deck and allows the instructor/user to operate the system from our custom designed operating software. The instructor/user can perform all of the following:

  • Turn on/off the system
  • Perform system updates and maintenance check
  • Operate the system
  • Restart session
  • Pause session
  • Change airplane session
  • Simulate an ATC
  • Create a malfunction before and during flight
  • Create a system failure (total or per certain rule)
  • Create or change the weather
  • Force CAT weather for IFR
  • Change airplane location and/or airport
  • Manipulate airplane altitude, direction and speed
  • Change payload and fuel
  • Change local time
  • Create a flight plan
  • Record and review flight performance

The NUS-SPA28 Unit is built with the most reliable custom designed control boards, I/O boards, communicator software and self-test system. The unit is controlled and operated from a professional flight simulator computer. All of the monitors, input devices (for operating station), sound system and visual system are directly connected to this computer. All of the unit avionics and controls are communicated with the professional computer via USB 3.0 controller boards which are connected to a reliable and stable USB powered hub. After the system is powered on and the operating software is loaded, all the control boards, I/O boards and communicator software are self-tested and self-checked by the operating software.
